I have to admit I wasn’t aware of the English triple threat, Alesha Dixon or the concept of a Shoe Garden. Alesha Dixon for those of you that don’t know her is a judge on Britain’s Got Talent. Apparently, she and the promotion of the largest shoe store in Ireland is causing quite a buzz. The Shoe Garden was launched at the Arnott’s department store in Dublin. It’s 10,000 square feet of nothing but shoes. There are 50,000 shoes in the garden to be exact. I don’t know about you but I would love to be in a secret garden where visions of designer shoes dance in my head. So if you ever in Dublin check it out but don’t keep it a secret.

The shoe industry is a multi billion dollar business. If I had to make an educated guess the “largest” stores are going to start popping up in numerous places. It’s the inevitable. Shoe lovers are everywhere so why not capitalize on it. Just think of it this way. It’s just more shoe gardens for us to play in….
