The world is so enamored by celebrities, what they’re wearing from their amazing celebrity closets and their lives in general. Luckily, producers of shows know what we like and gave us a little taste in this past week (9/14). Jennifer Hudson gave us a quick peek in her closet on Oprah’s Next Chapter although OWN didn’t publish the full video for me to show you if you missed it. I know – I know I’m sad too but honestly I don’t think Jennifer moved into this apartment for the closet storage, which was a little small. The view however was to die for seriously even the big O said so.
Evelyn Lozado filmed Fix My Life with Iyanla Vanzant on OWN which aired this week but taped a few days before her wedding in July. Evelyn allowed the cameras on a little trip inside her closet in the beginning of the show. The rows of neatly displayed shoes which were mainly Christian Louboutin’s were amazing but Iyanla wasn’t impressed at all. What stuck out to her was the fact that Evelyn’s Louboutin’s had spikes on them.
Christian Louboutin ”Asteroid” $3,400 spiked pump as seen in Evelyn’s closet

Iyanla said as she held the Christian Louboutin spiked pump in her hand:
“This is really a real way to keep people away from you.” She went on to say “Really, I don’t understand the shoes…the spikes. I don’t get the spikes.”
As the conversation progressed Evelyn said she didn’t want stress in her life and Iyanla’s reply was “well you may want to start by removing those spikes”.
Iyanla saw the expensive spikes as negative energy but women pay thousands of dollars for them to adorn their feet in the name of fashion.
The most exciting closet of them all was Jennifer Lopez on Katie Couric’s new daytime talk show simply entitled Katie. Jennifer was very candid regarding her life over the last year including her time on American Idol and her divorce. Her young beau even showed up to dance with Katie Couric. Jennifer’s closet made me gawk at the screen in pure delight, although we already know J.Lo is a fashion force all by herself.
