Who wouldn’t want a full closet overhaul? Well let me add a full closet overhaul when someone else is restocking the items that are aimlessly tossed aside. For most of us including Kim Kardashian that sounds great but sometimes it’s easier said than done. On an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Kanye West brought his stylist, Renelou Padora, to remove the non-essential items from Kim’s closet. Kanye lovingly encourages Kim to get rid of items except unfortunately it’s not those insanely inappropriately priced turtle neck sweater shoes from his collaboration with Guiseppe Zanotti. Kanye does attempt to remove a pair of Kim’s Christian Louboutin’s but Kim quickly jumps in saving them from a unnecessary demise.
Kim eventually conceded to departing with 100 pairs of designer shoes! Kanye referred to her shoes and closet items as ghetto. Umm Kanye most girls would die to be ghetto to have a closet like Kim’s. As far as her clothes Kim tweeted that she would be auctioning them off on Ebay next month for charity.
Kanye must be watching his spot on the throne next to the power couple, Jay and Beyonce and redressing his girl for the part. Hopefully, he allows her to maintain some color in her closet unlike his most recent fashion show and her latest photo ops in which she is wearing all black. I’ll be watching Kim’s style evolution along with the rest of the world to see how much influence Kanye really has over her style choices.
