There’s a few tv shows that have great fashion and make watching for fashion an extra little bonus. Gossip Girls are the reigning queens of fashion. Blake Lively struts through the streets of NY in real life and on the show like the streets are her personal runways. This season as everyone flips on their tv to pick up where they left off with their favorite gossiping cast I will be looking to see what shoes make the cut this season.
Gossip Girls
Here’s a sneak peak of what’s to come.
Single Ladies
Single Ladies, the VH1 show, featuring Lisa Raye displays sexy fashion on some pretty sexy ladies. The cast frequently flaunts a good shoe and what’s more sexy than a hot shoe?! Stacy Dash is no longer a cast member on Season 2. I still miss her sense of fashion but the ladies have been keeping it spicy without her.
On the last show (7/30) April had a shoe cam view of her platforms. She reminded us that wearing heels is sexy but sometimes taxing on poor tootsies.
Jane By Design
I have to admit I have’t added Jane by Design to my list of must watch shows for no particular reason BUT I am going to catch up on this new season. In my defense (at least it’s something if not a defense) I have seen quite a few photos from the set and they at least make me want to watch.
Here’s a photo from the episode that aired on July 24th provided by TV Equals.
The Carrie Diaries
Maybe it’s just me but I haven’t heard a lot of major buzz about the The Carrie Diaries, which is a show about the young Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City. The show focuses on how Carrie fell in love with the Big Apple, New York City. The young Carrie hasn’t quite morphed into CARRIE, the blazing hot fashionista, that we know and followed just yet but that would be a show ender huh?
Fashion on tv shows have a major appeal and as we know lots of thought goes into costume design for the actors. However, in the future I would love to see more shows that fashion run a close second to the story line or maybe a real re-birth to a Sex in the City type show. Wouldn’t it be great if a powerhouse fashion magazine launched a drama. I could see the catfights and hear the sexy heels clicking in my head!
