Lady Gaga Continues on Her Controversial Born This Way Ball Tour
Mother Monster hasn’t let the big government monsters halt her Gaga style even if they succeed in putting the kibosh on her concert(s). Gaga was spotted yesterday (5/22) arriving at the Bangkok Airport in a rubber catsuit. The temperatures soar in Bangkok this time of year but in all her Gaga-ness she didn’t even break a sweat. Gaga is no novice when it comes to wearing uncomfortable outfits and shoes. The “Born This Way” singer put the Tokyo based designer, Noritaka Tatehana, on the map when she started wearing his daring heel less heel creations a few years back. As Lady Gaga learned sometimes heel less heels have their imbalanced moments but a girl just has to brush her knees off and keep the fabulous train moving.
Her little monsters also know how to do it up Lady Gaga style as well. According to the site, Mercury News, one of the concert goers adorned their feet with a few holes, a few chains, a few skulls and a horn to attend the current tour in the Phillipines (5/21).
May 25 will be the start of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way Ball Tour”. According to Coconuts Bangkok, Neil Thompson is the tour’s Managing Director for the company that is organizing the event.
Neil Thompson stated: “The band will use over 5,000 guitar strings, more than 2,500 towels on stage. Dancers will use 50 pairs of shoes and go through 200 pairs of fishnet stockings…”
Lady Gaga is traveling with fifteen costume changes being toted in 40 wardrobe cases. Lady Gaga’s style may be over the top for some but there’s no doubt that when she enters the room it’s all eyes on her.
