SHOE NEWS | Manolo Blahnik A/W 12/13 Collection preview in Milan,Italy

Manolo Blahnik previewed his A/W 12/13 collection at the Excelsior in Milan, Italy (5/10).  The Excelsior which opened its doors in September 2011 is a concept store laden with external video displays on the facade.  The Excelsior houses aspiring designers and accessories from Giuseppe Zanotti, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Manolo Blahnik.  According to the NY Times, the Excelsior has not been commercially successful locally.  However, the show must go on.  Manolo’s event was attended by Anna Dello Russo, Kristina Blahnik, several members of the press, and selected guests.  Manolo was interviewed, interacted with the attendees and signed autographs.

    OMG!!! I love his shoes, what an extraordinary talent! I saw him on the Martha Stewart show and he called himself a fancy boy, with a sly smile…he’s so funny! Thanks so much for sharing!!

      I went to a taping of the show, the View, we signed this contract for the IRS for receiving gifts up to $800..I thought I was getting shoes bcuz Manolo was on the show..lol We got his book of sketches.

          Right I was all excited like it says up to $800…ummmm no. Funny thing is he had on the same color blue suit and pink loafers like in the pic I posted
