When I pick shoe battles I usually look for similarities with shoes from different companies. However, this is a unique battle from the same shoe company. So drumroll please.. in corner number one is Alexander McQueen and guess who’s in corner number two? Christian Louboutin…just kidding! Alexander McQueen is also in corner number two. To be honest I’m not sure how I feel about either pair of these shoes. The styling on the more expensive pair is more appealing to me. I can actually picture someone wearing the $6,000 pair cute but honestly the string laces annoy me. The laces look too flimsy to hold the shoe on properly. For that price I don’t want to question comfort or wearability.
What’s your thoughts on these shoes? Do you love or hate them? If you love the $6,000 pair they can be purchased at Net-a-Porter and the $1,600 pair is available at Zappos Couture.

Not that price should matter but the less expensive pair look cheap, although they aren’t.

To be honest I don’t love either pair! And price does matter to me…lol I could only imagine if I spent $6,000 and someone said they look cheap. UGH

To say they’re McQueen they are not the best. Speaking of McQueen Sarah Burton will be at my school on May 2nd! I can’t wait to meet her.

I’m going to try! I was able to take picture with Cathyrn Horn of the New York Times during her visit. I didn’t get one with Jean Paul Gaultier =(. I blog about both experiences on The Urban Class Boutique. I will most definitely dedicate a post to Sarah’s visit.
