Recently celebrities such as Melanie Fiona and many more have been spotted rocking leather shorts and heels. Well in Melanie Fiona’s case she rocked the shorts with thigh boots. This look at first glance isn’t for the faint at heart but upon further analysis it is all in how the person chooses to style the ensemble.

Let’s break it down. Eva Longoria is rocking this look in a hot conservative way. The nude color shorts and the nude shoes elongate her legs.  Also Eva’s choice of clothing on the top with the blazer and conservative shirt helps to set the tone as well. At times Miranda Kerr is a risk taker with her clothing choices but her black leather shorts with her shoe choice makes her legs appear shorter. My focus is drawn towards her shoe and it’s not really a good choice. Then there is Lauren Conrad who usually gets her clothing choices right. Even though Lauren’s shorts are a little more fitted, she managed to keep the hooker-ish look at bay with her conservative long-sleeved shirt. Also, I like how her nude shoe elongates her legs as well. So, I guess the moral of this story is the nude/neutral tone shoe is QUEEN once again.
