The red bottom of Christian is ingeniously characteristic and as a result it slaps you in the face when you see it. You know exactly who designed the shoe. Other designers may not stick out as much but they are certainly present. I noticed the Giuseppe Zanotti platform sandal that had a large bow perched on it a few months back but since then it’s been hard to miss much like the red bottom. It has become a celebrity favorite it seems.  It has crossed fashion lines from being paired with celebrity outfits ranging from crazy pleather skirts to peek-a-boo sheer shirts.

If you love this shoe it’s available at Giuseppe Zanotti Design, Barneys, Nordstrom, Zappos Couture ($895) and several other places, although the black color shoe seems to be the sold out. This is a fabulous shoe indeed but it’s not for the faint at heart when it comes to heel height. It has a six-inch heel with a two-inch platform. This is a shoe that you have to rock with confidence and be fierce with it!
