Melissa McCarthy, one of our favorite brides maids and Mike and Molly star got a special message from Brian Atwood on the sole of her custom designed shoes.
She stated:
”My dear, dear friend Brian Atwood made my lovely handbag and fantastic shoes for me and wrote a message to me on the bottom,” McCarthy told Seacrest of the inscription, which read ‘to my best friend Melissa McCarthy,’ then Oscars and the date. “We’ve been dear friends since high school. I read the [note] and started crying.”
The Oscars red carpet interviews (in my opinion) focused more attention on the dresses and jewels of the celebrities. Being the shoe lover that I am I want to know which designer shoes are gracing the celebrities’ feet during the red carpet interviews. A few celebrities actually divulged the shoes that were hidden under their floor length gowns. Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part to think that all celebrities would mention their shoes because shoes are just as important as the dress to me. Shoes can make an outfit even more special. That’s partially why I loved hearing this little tidbit of information about her shoes even though I haven’t seen them yet.
