Fashion is always moving but sometimes actually most times I like to stay where I’m happy. A lot of the Spring 2012 collections have made their debuts but I’m still lingering in Fall/Winter 2011. I still haven’t purchased all of the shoes on my wish list yet. One of the items that was on my wish list was lace up boots. I fell in love with a pair of lace up over the knee boots on a shopping trip but unfortunately someone mysteriously hid the left boot at least that’s my theory. It made me a little sad but my search continues. I have Leann Rimes and her Chloe boots to thank for reminding me that my list still has some outstanding items. If you love Leann’s boots in brown (the gray doesn’t seem to be available), you’re in luck. Saks actually has them on sale for $556.
The Report “Ceron” is an affordable priced style similiar to the Chloe boots that Leann is wearing. It’s available at Piperlime($80).

I love lace-up boots. Ever since my first pair of 1972 high heeled patchwork/lace-up granny boots (at 13), I’ve always loved them. You’ve got some great picks here! I especially like the Charles David’s.

Lol at the granny boots because I have a pair of Prada lace ups that are so outta style but I can’t part with them. I love a good lace up!
