When I think of turquoise in November, it’s usually me dreaming and wishing I was sitting on a beach listening to the waves crashing. This time instead of dreamy blue water visions, I am dreaming of my new love affair with turquoise shoes. I have been amazed by the numerous choices of these brightly colored gems at this time of the year. It all started with this picture of Thandie Newton. When I saw the picture, for a brief moment I silently questioned why she chose turquoise shoes for this outfit. Then I quickly regrouped and asked myself who am I to judge? All I can say about her outfit is that the turquoise pop of color on her Nicholas Kirkwood pumps was engraved in my mind from that moment. Afterwards, I started to notice several other designers adding turquoise to their collections. This is great since now there are options, options, and more options for us to choose the right pair. Hmm I loved each piece separately but I couldn’t decide if I loved the shoes with the outfit or hated them with it. But overall she looks fab! Thanks for your comment : )
